Delevan Volunteer Opportunities

These efforts and committees are not executed through PTA, but we always help get the word out for whatever support Delevan administration needs! If you have any questions, email info@delevanpta.org and we can steer you in the correct direction for additional information.

Bookfair Support!

  Scholastic Bookfair Support is needed twice a year (once in the Fall and once in the Spring). Volunteers primarily help kids find books and work the register! Tier II is required for this effort. We will add details as each book fair is scheduled!

WHAT IS LSLC?

 Local School Leadership Council (LSLC): is led by Mr. Fiorillo & Mr. Bernstein

Meeting Details: Meets once a month via Zoom for 1 hour.

Responsibilities:

• General Fund Instructional

• Materials

• Discipline Policy

• Bell Schedule

• Professional Development

WHAT IS ELAC?

English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC): led by Ms. Chu

Meeting Details: Meets once a month via Zoom for 1 hour.

Responsibilities:

• Advisory group

• Makes recommendations for EL student needs.

• The ELAC advises on programs and services for EL students and on strategies to engage parents in support of their child’s education.
