Our goal is to create opportunity for community connection + relationship. We host an annual ‘Meet + Greet’ at the start of every year to welcome new students and their families. If you would like more information, please see our calendar of events or reach out to us at info@delevanpta.org

We also host a community connection every Monday during school drop offs. If you would like to meet other parents or learn about our programs and events, come by and say ‘hi!”

Delevan Garden Beautification

Over the last few years, the PTA has worked to improve the expansive garden that sits near the back of Delevan’s campus. The garden provides a beautiful outdoor learning environment where students learn about plants + life cycles, participate in garden maintenance and engage in the beauty of the outdoors during school hours. The garden also hosts enrichment programs after school.

There is always work to do on our garden. If you are interested in helping to improve our garden with physical work or have a green thumb and want to share your knowledge, please contact us here

DEI: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

The Delevan PTA has an entire DEI committee who invests energy and thought into ensuring our programs and projects support everyone in our community

If you would like to join the committee or would like to see additional ways the Delevan community can be supportive, please reach us here.

RECYCLING PROGRAM

The PTA + 6th Grade Delevan Students work together to gather and sort all recycling from the school. Funds are put towards the 6th grade Science School and culmination events. Recycle days are announced on Class Dojo + on our PTA calendar.

Koal-a-thon T Shirts

Koala-Thon is our annual sponsorship drive run by PTA to raise funds that will go back towards our students in the form of academic programs, classroom resources, and student events. During this time, we encourage all of our students and their families to give back by participating in this fundraiser. No matter if individual students are able to raise thousands of dollars or just $1, ALL students are valued equally. Students and staff will be able to wear their new FREE shirts in October; celebrating the end of our annual Sponsorship Drive and the funding of our new school year.

Great teamwork, Koalas!

Cards & Cookies

During the holiday season, Delevan students like to create cards for our local law enforcement and senior homes. The cards are created and delivered by hand to spread cheer. Participating students celebrate with cookies; hence the name, “Cards and Cookies”.
