FINE ART ACADEMY:

Learn the basic principles of art including line, shape, color, values, texture, and space with examples from famous artists like Hockney, Cezanne, and Monet. Your art dreams become real as you explore different styles while drawing, painting, and creating mixed-media collages. Make the coolest art around... YOURS!

Are you looking for a fun and engaging way to introduce your child to the world of music? Look no further than our Orchestra program! Throughout the 2023-2024 school year program, your child will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of rhythm, harmony, and traditional note reading, all while playing familiar songs that they love. Smaller groups will come together to form a larger ensemble, culminating in an unforgettable year-end concert.

*each time slot is roughly 30-40 minutes 

HIKING CLUB || with Hawks la

grades K-6 || Thursdays @ 2:30-5:30 || $65/class for Spring Session 2 (8 classes total available)

hiking club:

An off-campus experience with two HawksLA teachers. Hiking club with HawksLA is a nature-based hiking camp that provides summer camp, weekend specialty hikes and after school enrichment programming for children ages 5-12. Through our programming we create community, forge a connection with nature and instill a sense of stewardship for our earth in our campers and their families.

Our HAWKs LA counselors are naturalists and natural teachers. They genuinely connect with the kids and, in turn, connect the kids to their surrounding environment that so many of us take for granted. Our kids have access to Los Angeles’ natural beauty from the top of Griffith Park to the replenished arroyo snaking through the Gabrielino Trail.

We want kids to be curious about nature and to develop a stewardship for our environment.

Sk8 Club with April kibbe:

Taught by Certified Skate Instructor April Kibbe, aka ApeSk8, Sk8 Club is a fun place to learn basic safety skills and roller skate dance moves. This unique club will teach you how to skate safely and build Sk8’er self-confidence! *Must bring own skates, helmet, and pads to class. Rollerskate equipment is also available to rent from instructor. CLUB begins 2/6/24 and runs until 6/4/24.

*Parents, if you want to volunteer an hour of your time to assist April with skate gear setup/removal, your child will receive free registration for Spring. One parent/child for this class, please.
